Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD)
Misophonia (a neurobehavioral phenomenon characterized by a strong reaction of anger, disgust, and/or a “fight-or-flight” response to specific sounds)

Behavioral problems
Specialty services include:
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), a first-line treatment for Tourette Syndrome and other tic disorders
Supportive Parenting For Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), a parent-based treatment program for children and teens with anxiety, OCD, and related problems.
Consultation to mental health professionals
In-person and remote psychological and neurodevelopmental assessments for the evaluation of ADHD, emotional and behavioral concerns, and autism spectrum disorders
When children and teens present to treatment, it is often because a loved one is concerned about them. It is frequently not their idea to come to therapy. This can make them reluctant to trust and open up to a therapist.
I take the time needed to get to know your child. We work at the pace that suits their unique personality, needs, motivation, and circumstances. Together, we identify your child's values and goals and find ways to move towards creating a happier, more hopeful, and brighter future.
